Join your fellow Maserati enthusiasts for a fun drive on Aug 14th to the Elk Mountain Hotel in Elk Mountain Wyoming via the Sagebrush Bar and Grill in Grand Lake. If you can’t do an overnight, come join us for the first part of the drive and the lunch in Grand Lake. Hyperlinks at the bottom.
To start the day we will meet at 9 AM in the T-Rex RTD parking lot 18425 US-40, Golden, CO 80401. Look for the Maserati flags. This is across from the Exxon gas station. At 9:30 AM we will depart for lunch in Grand Lake.
Lunch at the Sagebrush is scheduled for 1 PM. It should only take a little over 2 hr. to arrive in Grand Lake, leaving plenty of time to stop along the way or walk and explore the town of Grand Lake. There are 3 art galleries, 2 general stores (Grand Mountain) and 2 ice cream shops in town. All are 1 minute walking from Sagebrush.

We will have a portion of the small restaurant blocked off for our group. Lunch bill is on your own. Best way to describe this restaurant is that there are peanut shells on the floor & true Western decor on the walls. This is a historic go-to for barbecue specialties. There were a lot of locals when I checked it out at the beginning of July.
After lunch some will depart to go home, glad that they could make a great drive and a fun lunch in a historic town. The rest will continue on to the overnight in Elk Mountain.
Our final stop is the Historic Elk Mountain Hotel, 102 E Main St, Elk Mountain, WY 82324. I wish I could describe the town by pointing out all the restaurants and attractions but there aren't any. So why make the trip?? It’s a beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. Show off the car. Drive that beast! Have dinner with your Maserati friends and talk about the adventures of the day. Looking at about a little less than 3 hr. drive. We’ll try for a 6 PM arrival.

Call before July 30th as they will release our room block after that date. If any rooms are left we can still book them. Again for hotel reservations call 307-348-7774. We will have the use of the upper porch to ourselves and have requested sleeping rooms around the upper porch so we can hang out there as long as we like. Look for the Maserati banner when you arrive.
Dinner is at the Elk Mountain Hotel at 7 PM with dinner charges on your own.
If you can only join for a part of the day that works! Each event is a stand alone function. You need to RSVP separately. If you are going to join us for both portions of the day still please RSVP separately.
The club’s routes will use as little Interstate as possible, primarily following some great roads including route 40 and 34 to Grand Lake, and then CO-125, that takes us into Wyoming going through Walden, Encampment and Saratoga. On the way back you can take the quick route or we will suggest a route that takes you through the Medicine Bow National Forest. More info on driving directions before Aug 14th.
